It’s always the perfect time of year to fall in love with Cape Town. We invite couples just falling in love or rekindling their love; and couples just married or long married to bring your sweethearts to retreat to one of our beautiful and romantic guestrooms set high in the sky. Boasting heavenly views of rugged mountains and sea, sunrises and moonrises over the bay, twinkling lights in the valley, candle-lit bubble baths and long and leisurely breakfasts, Tranquility is the most romantic getaway to be together. The smell of salt in the air, the feel of sand between your toes and the sight of a shimmering ocean in the moonlight all inspire romance.

For R600, we will indulge you with strawberries and cream upon arrival and J C Le Roux’s La Fleurette Rosé sparkling wine and Lindt chocolate on your private balcony beneath the stars. Throw in freshly scattered rose petals on your bed, a bunch of red and pink roses for your loved one, sparkling tea lights about your bath and a surprise sweet treat upon your pillow, and you have the ingredients for romance.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• Rates are subject to change without prior notice. All rates will be confirmed upon reservation.

• Rates are per person sharing per night and include our delicious home-cooked breakfast.

• Single rates on request.

• A 30% non-refundable deposit is required upon confirmation of booking to secure reservation.

• Preferred means of payment are EFT bank transfer or credit card payment. We accept both VISA and MasterCard credit cards. Swift and electronic payments made directly into our bank account must be made free of bank charges.

• We will confirm all bookings by e-mail, fax or post after receiving the deposit.

• Bookings cancelled 30 - 14 days prior to arrival will be charged 50% of the total value of the booking.

• Bookings cancelled 14 – 7 days prior to arrival will be charged 75% of the total value of the booking.

• Bookings cancelled 0 - 7 days prior to arrival / no-shows / premature departures will be charged 100% of the total value of the booking.

• To avoid any misunderstanding, a booking constitutes a binding contract. It is expected that guests take out appropriate travel insurance to cover any circumstances that will prevent them from fulfilling their obligations.

• Check-in time is from 2-6pm. Late arrivals must be pre-arranged.

• Check-out time is strictly 10am, unless otherwise arranged.

• Tranquility Guest House has taken its first step in going green and turned its Jacuzzi into a splash pool in order to save energy. Should you wish the Jacuzzi to be heated, we require a minimum of 8 hours notice and a charge of R100 will be levied for each night’s use.

• Tranquility Guest House is a non-smoking establishment.

• The proprietors are not responsible for loss or damage to property of, or injury to any guest, member of their family, visitor or any person whatsoever on the premises, arising from fire, theft or otherwise whatsoever cause, or arising from negligence or wrongful act of the owners or any staff in the employ of the establishment.

• The Terms and Conditions of this booking are deemed as being accepted on receipt of the deposit, or credit card details.
